Winter Wedding Inspiration

Putting this shoot together with so many talented and kind people was so much fun! I can go on and on about how wonderful everyone involved in this shoot is. Brolin is the sweetest and most helpful photographer. Heather at the Curly Willow Floral does the prettiest flowers and has a great eye for details. Cherisa, Alexa, And Kylie were the perfect hair and makeup team; the girls all looked so glowy and perfect with the softest curls and pretty braids. I love how Elise used chocolate for the cake, it's not what you'd expect, but man was it pretty (and incredibly tasty)! Tiffany and Garrett win not only the most beautiful couple award, but also the best sport award, along with our bridesmaids (it was not exactly what you would call balmy during the shoot, and they all still looked radiant). Emily, Aly, and Elise are all as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. It's cheesy but true.

Provo Fashion Week Holiday Party Shoot

The other day we had the chance to dress up some gorgeous girls in party dresses and get some perfect photos. We had some pretty little treats from Macaron by Brian, Sweet Tooth Fairy, and a cake by my sweet sister, Elise. Our flower arrangement by Rachel Osguthorpe was amazing. Everything so was sparkly and festive! I'd love to own every single one of these party dresses from Natalie Wynn Design, Bree Lena, and Lauren Mellor, and eat these goodies myself...

Thanks to Nikki Hepworth, Tara Brooke, Ariel Hamilton, Lauren Cooper, Paige Arminta, and Brandi Buckley for making our dresses look great...are these girls not just beautiful!?

Emmy Lowe will not only crack you up, she'll get you some amazing photos! And her studio is lovely.

Check them out...

If you are interested in having one of these festive little numbers for your holiday party, check out the designers' websites!

These two pieces are listed on my Etsy shop!

Happy Holidays!

Provo Fashion Week!

The event we were all waiting for...

Provo Fashion Week!

PFW was October 10th and 11th. Everything at the event turned out beautifully! So many amazing designers, makeup artists, hairstylists, models, and guests. There were so many looks I loved from so many designers, so when I have a little more time, I'll post some of my favorites.

In the meantime, here are the gowns from my line!

First up, Lindsay in a flowy green chiffon dress with a draped "cold shoulder" sleeve.

Next up, my beautiful sister Elise's very own wedding gown! A sleek, modest, silk 4-ply gown with godets through the skirt, beaded belt, and draped beading across the V back.

Photo: My iPhone :)

This dress, worn by Lindsay and Kaiti, was a favorite at PFW...a gorgeous and simple rust chiffon gown with a ridiculously beaded caplet to go with it.

This little gold dress had a minor malfunction after the first show, but we were able to get a shot of it.

This flowy wedding dress has the most gorgeous lace on the bodice that pictures just don't do justice.  It's still a stunner! Kristen looked so amazingly elegant...

This little fringe number, modeled by Brittany, was so fun! The lace was from my grandmother's collection - it was originally white, but I dyed it a pretty rust color. I was also lucky enough to find this 30 inch fringe...how great is that?

This next wedding dress, modeled by Stevie, was so soft and slinky. The front was simple and elegant. The back of the dress though, is where the real magic happened!

This little green "petal dress", as I call it, is the one that I most want to wear. I would go everywhere in it! Brittany looks better in it than I would though, so we'll let her do the modeling. The bodice is actually an upholstery fabric, and the skirt is hand cut silk 4-ply that I dyed to various shades of green to give this ombre effect.

Last but not least is Alexis in this soft lace and English net wedding dress with a sheer lace back and split flutter sleeve. It was finished off with pearl buttons down the back.

Isn't this photo absolutely fabulous! Thank you Endless Photography!

A big thank you to all of the people who supported and helped my with Provo Fashion Week
this time around!

Like I said, stay tuned for some of my favorite looks from the other amazing designers!
